Currie Cup First Division Results

In 2017 changes were made to the Currie Cup competition. The Premier Division was reduced from nine to seven teams. The Premier Division teams were determined on the last season’s top six plus the Pumas, who had the best record of the rest in the competition over the past five years. The winners of an eight team First Division will play a promotion relegation series against the last placed Premier Division team. Teams played each other once and at the completion of these games, the top 4 teams play in Semi-Finals, with the winners progressing on to the Final. |
