2023 Rugby World Cup

The 2023 Rugby World Cup will be the 10th tournament to be held. It is played every 4 years and started in 1987, when it was held in New Zealand. The 2023 edition will be hosted by France.

The 2023 tournament will have 20 teams playing in 4 pools of 5 teams. Each team will play the other 4 teams in the pool once. The top 2 teams in each pool then progress to the knock-out stage.

Qualification for the tournament started not long after the end of the 2019RWC and continued until late into 2022. Go here to find out a little more about qualifying for the 2023 RWC.
